Greece Leads Europe in Blue Flag Certification
Greece consistently holds the highest number of Blue Flag beaches in Europe (over 500). The finest are not easily accessible — Elafonisi (pink sand, shallow lagoon, southwest Crete) requires 90 minutes from Heraklion; Voidokilia (perfect horseshoe bay, Peloponnese) requires a drive through Pylos and a short walk; Balos (turquoise lagoon at the northwest tip of Crete) requires a 4x4 track or a boat. FFGR Greece makes every one of them accessible in the comfort of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Range Rover SV.
